Senior General Ledger Accountant

Role description

Role Overview

As the General Ledger Senior Accountant, you'll be responsible for reviewing new lease agreements, reconciling lease activity, and preparing journal entries. You'll work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

Review new lease agreements, track and reconcile lease activity, prepare and record monthly close journal entries, and support audit and due diligence requests.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of general ledger accounting experience
• Experience with leases accounting
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Working knowledge of internal controls and accounting best practices
• Understanding of consolidations, joint ventures, and intercompany transactions
• Exposure to and understanding of month-end financial reporting processes
