Role description

Role Overview

As a Senior Manager on the Strategic Initiatives team, you'll work directly with the President/CSO and other leaders to help Crusoe make big decisions quickly, then make them happen. The job is a blend of high-level strategic thinking, analysis, and writing, cultivating relationships with internal and external partners, and running mission critical projects.

What You Will Do

Recommendations to executives, launching new programs, and special projects for the President's office. You'll define each decision up front, work with stakeholders, write short memos, and run pilots that test the riskiest assumptions.

  • Experience taking a program from approved idea to day-to-day operation, including changing course along the way and handing it off to a permanent owner
  • The ability to build financial models from scratch, including scenarios
  • Experience in at least one of these areas: data centers, power and energy, AI compute and cloud, or manufacturing
  • Daily use of AI tools like Claude or Gemini for research, analysis, and writing, along with the judgment to check what they give you
