Role Overview
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist, Compute will act as the connective tissue between deployment, procurement, and vendor operations for Crusoe's global Compute category. The role involves BOM management, supplier onboarding, RFQ execution, and procurement operations for Crusoe Cloud's compute infrastructure.
What You Will Do
The responsibilities include BOM and Hardware Sourcing Execution, Global Supplier Coordination, RFQ and Quote Management, Purchase Order Lifecycle, Supplier Onboarding and Compliance, DCIM and Asset Accuracy, Cross-Functional Coordination, Urgent Deployment Support, and Reporting and Visibility.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or hardware deployment operations, preferably for data center, cloud, or hardware supply chains. They should have strong working knowledge of compute server hardware and experience with Coupa or a comparable ERP/procurement platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or hardware deployment operations
- Strong working knowledge of compute server hardware
- Experience with Coupa or a comparable ERP/procurement platform
- DCIM/Asset Tracking experience with NetBox, ServiceNow, or similar DCIM/asset management tools
- Vendor coordination experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with a track record of building or improving procurement and operations workflows
- Ability to pass a background check
