Role Overview
Join Crusoe, a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company, as a Staff Cloud Hypervisor Engineer to lead the R&D and implementation of a next-generation virtualization stack. The role involves designing a 'Greenfield' hypervisor environment, eliminating the 'virtualization tax,' and ensuring bare-metal performance for demanding AI/ML workloads.
What You Will Do
Work on next-gen hypervisor architecture, AI hardware virtualization, and performance research & profiling. Contribute to open-source virtualization projects and architect robust security boundaries for AI-native cloud infrastructure.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The role requires a proven track record in hypervisor internals, kernel development, or low-level systems programming. Experience with specialized AI hardware, including GPUs, InfiniBand/RoCE NICs, and SmartNICs/DPUs, is also required.
