Role description

Role Overview

The Civil Drafter will lead the design, development, and execution of 10s to 100s of GWs of data centers, drive the next generation of liquid cooling and electrical distribution systems, and develop and scale first-of-a-kind modular data centers. The role requires producing civil drawing sets for data center site development, turning drawing revisions around quickly, and building and maintaining civil CAD standards.

What You Will Do

The Civil Drafter will produce civil drawing sets for data center site development, turn drawing revisions around quickly, and build and maintain civil CAD standards. They will also coordinate civil sheets against structural and architectural models to catch clashes on paper before they cost time in the field.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have experience drafting civil construction documents in Civil 3D or AutoCAD, building surfaces, grading, corridors, and pipe networks, and maintaining drawing sets internally. They will also have experience working on tight deadlines and keeping submittals moving without pulling engineers off design work.

Requirements

• Experience drafting civil construction documents in Civil 3D or AutoCAD
• Ability to build surfaces, grading, corridors, and pipe networks in Civil 3D
• Experience maintaining drawing sets internally
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and keep submittals moving
• Experience with data center, industrial, or utility-scale solar site work
• Revit or Navisworks coordination experience
• Survey data processing experience
• Permit exhibit and plat preparation experience
• Erosion control and SWPPP drawing experience
