Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting
FluidStack — San Francisco, California, United States · In-Person · Senior
Role description
Role Overview
As a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, you will own technical accounting positions across revenue recognition, leases, project finance, and equity, writing the memos that document how the company accounts for first-of-a-kind data center transactions. You will run the financial reporting close and produce accurate financial statements on a fast cycle as the company scales toward audit and public-company readiness. You will stand up technical accounting policies and controls from the ground up on a lean finance stack (NetSuite, Zip, Shareworks, Pigment).
What You Will Do
You will manage the external audit relationship, preparing the support and positions that let auditors sign off without surprises. You will partner with strategic finance, legal, and commercial teams to structure and account for complex, high-value transactions correctly the first time.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for exceptional people who have written technical accounting memos on complex areas such as revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, or equity, and they held up under audit scrutiny. You will have a strong background in technical accounting and financial reporting, with experience in managing external auditors and building accounting policies, processes, or controls from scratch.
