Role Overview
As an HPC Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining service availability, driving service reliability, and rapid response to customer tickets. You will work with the Support and Operations team to ensure the smooth operation of Nscale's GPU cloud.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling day-to-day tickets and alerts, performing GPU node triage and hardware troubleshooting, running fabric and link diagnostics, and assisting with storage and data-path investigations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in infrastructure support or support engineering, including support/service desk experience in structured, SLA-driven, customer-facing environments. You should have a strong technical base, including knowledge of GPU infrastructure, hardware troubleshooting, and solid working knowledge of CLI, filesystems, permissions, and standard networking tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years in infrastructure support or support engineering
- Support/service desk experience in structured, SLA-driven, customer-facing environments
- GPU and hardware troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of GPU infrastructure
- Solid working knowledge of CLI, filesystems, permissions, and standard networking tools
- Solid grasp of IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, routing, DNS, and firewalls
- Ticketing and ITSM discipline
- Observability foundations
- Scripting and automation basics
