Role description

Role Overview

The Data Center Manager will be the on-site leader responsible for the operational excellence of the facility. This is a 100% onsite role. The day-to-day will involve guiding a team of technicians through hardware diagnostics, physical repairs, and new equipment installations while developing and implementing best practices to maximize uptime.

What You Will Do

The Data Center Manager will lead a team of data center technicians in daily operations, including server maintenance, equipment installation, and troubleshooting. They will also develop and implement best practices for data center operations to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data center operations, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. They will also have in-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with data center management tools and software.

Requirements

• proficiency with the Linux Operating System
• ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations
