Role description

Role Overview

The Data Center Technician will perform hands-on hardware and network diagnostics, equipment installations, structured cabling, and physical repairs in a 100% on-site position. The role requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule and the ability to travel up to 15% to other data center locations as needed.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include assembling, racking, stacking, and maintaining data center server, storage, and networking hardware, conducting hardware and network diagnostics, troubleshooting issues, replacing components, and performing physical repairs.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in computer hardware assembly, installation, and physical and logical troubleshooting, as well as familiarity with Linux operating systems and fundamental networking concepts.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience or coursework in computer hardware assembly, installation, and physical and logical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and fundamental networking concepts
• Ability to follow established procedures, prioritize tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and recognize when to ask for guidance or escalate
• Strong organizational and communication skills, a collaborative and curious mindset, and a commitment to high reliability standards
