Role Overview
The Benefits Program Manager will own Fluidstack's benefits program end to end, covering medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, disability, EAP, FSA, HSA, HRA, commuter, voluntary benefits, and the 401(k) with Fidelity. The role involves running annual renewal and open enrollment, keeping every plan compliant, and administering leave and accommodations.
What You Will Do
The Benefits Program Manager will model claims, cost trends, and contribution options with Finance, benchmark against AI and technology peers, bring recommendations to leadership well before enrollment, and audit every election across HRIS, payroll, and carrier systems afterward. The role also involves running benefits operations in HRIS and carrier feeds, holding brokers, carriers, and TPAs to their service levels, and administering leave and accommodations.

Requirements
- Owned a US benefits program end to end
- Handled benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA reporting and affordability testing, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Section 125)
- Administered leave and accommodations across multiple states
- Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms
- Benefits cost and utilization reporting
- Modeling renewal and contribution scenarios with Finance
- Benefits certifications (CEBS, CBP)
- Hypergrowth benefits builds (headcount doubling or more in a year, new states and entities)
- International benefits (UK, employer of record)
- Benefits diligence and integration for acquisitions
- AI tools for benefits administration and employee support (chat-based benefits assistants)
