Role Overview
The Logistics Team is working on building the material disposition strategy, transitioning out of third-party warehousing, and building and integrating their own warehouse, inventory, and transportation management systems. The Transportation Coordinator will book and schedule shipments, track shipments, and own the day-to-day relationship with their dedicated carrier.
What You Will Do
The Transportation Coordinator will book and schedule shipments, track every shipment in transit, chase missed SLAs, and own the day-to-day relationship with their dedicated carrier. They will also keep shipment and carrier performance data current in the TMS and turn it into a running view of who's hitting SLA and who isn't.
