Role Overview

Vultr is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Physical Security Evaluator to evaluate and strengthen physical security controls across its global data center facilities. This role is responsible for conducting risk-based security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, validating the effectiveness of security controls, and driving corrective actions to closure.

What You Will Do

Conduct risk-based physical security assessments of data center facilities, evaluate physical security controls, review security policies and procedures, document findings, and track corrective actions to closure.

Requirements

• 5–8 years in physical security, security assessments, security audits, investigations, or security operations
• Experience assessing data center, colocation, critical infrastructure, or other high-security facilities
• Practical knowledge of access control, CCTV/video management, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, visitor management, perimeter security, and physical security operations
• Experience conducting inspections or assessments, collecting and evaluating evidence, documenting control gaps, assessing risk, and tracking corrective actions
• Working knowledge of contract security guard operations, incident management, and security procedures
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, vendors, customers, and senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive security information appropriately
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
