Role Overview

Crusoe is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Core Backend team in our Cloud Customer Experience (CCX) organization. The team builds shared services that every Crusoe Cloud product depends on, including quota management, customer notifications, organization onboarding and KYC, and the API framework that sits in front of our backend services.

What You Will Do

You will lead a team of backend engineers, partner with the team's product manager, and set technical direction for services that sit on the path of every customer request. You will own the services other Crusoe Cloud teams build on, including quota management, the notification service and the API framework, so a new product can launch without building its own versions of them.

Requirements

• 2+ years managing software engineering teams
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend services in Go or another compiled language
• Experience designing and running distributed systems or cloud platform services
• Experience owning customer-facing production systems
• A track record of leading a team that serves other engineering teams
• Clear written and verbal communication
