Role description

Role Overview

Crusoe is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to own program execution for cloud availability. The role involves maintenance window planning, incident management, network switch upgrades, and technical risk identification.

What You Will Do

The Staff Technical Program Manager will drive planning and execution of maintenance windows, coordinate cross-functional response during major incidents, and build lightweight frameworks to bring predictability to an operationally complex environment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, with direct exposure to cloud infrastructure, availability, or operations environments
  • Working knowledge of maintenance window planning, host patching, and hardware/firmware update cycles for high-availability systems
  • Experience with incident management practices: cross-functional incident coordination, post-incident reviews, and remediation tracking against SLA commitments
  • Familiarity with network switch upgrade or migration planning, including how to identify and track critical dependencies
  • Demonstrated ability to build basic, lightweight program processes for well-defined initiatives and to know when to escalate versus solve directly
  • Active use of AI tools in program management work (risk detection, status reporting, dependency mapping), with concrete examples
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating incident response and reporting status across technical and customer-facing stakeholders
