Role Overview
The EOR Payroll specialist owns the Payroll for employees engaged through the company’s Employer of Record (EOR) providers. The role sits in Employee Payables and mirrors the direct-hire operating model.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include owning the monthly EOR payroll cycle, reviewing and signing off each run, leading the transfer of EOR payroll from HR Ops into Employee Payables team, funding and executing payroll, reconciling and closing payroll, operating controls and monitoring compliance, and running year-end and annual statutory cycles.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We expect you to have 7+ years of payroll experience, including multi-country payroll run through EOR, PEO or outsourced providers in complex, changing environments. You should have hands-on experience on the client/Finance side of outsourced payroll, strong payroll accounting and reconciliation skills, and a clear understanding of the EOR model.
Requirements
- 7+ years of payroll experience
- Hands-on experience on the client/Finance side of outsourced payroll
- Strong payroll accounting and reconciliation skills
- Experience with NetSuite and BlackLine or comparable tools
- Strong controllership
- Working knowledge of equity compensation through payroll (RSUs/options)
- Clear understanding of the EOR model (provider as legal employer, markup and fee structures, provider-executed compliance, client responsibilities)
- Excellent stakeholder management across HR, Finance and external providers
